hmm, let me tell a story. (:

once upon a time.... -.- yes, there's this girl called amber. she was this sweet little girl, always flashing her megawatt smile, bringing sunshine into the hearts of many. and of course, making lame jokes were her forte. she was great, really great. and therefore explains her clique of great friends, who were always there for her. ashley was one of them, always wanting to spend time with her and build up their friendship. she believes in friendship and that they will last.

one day, terri appeared. she came into the life of amber, and they eventually became very good friends. no one objected to terri's appearance into amber's life, because she was really nice to amber's clique of friends. however, it was amber the friends were putting blame on. amber actually unknowingly excluded her good friends in her life. she didn't bother to look back and say 'hello' when her friends greet her. whenever ashley ask amber if they would like to hang out, she would always say that she asked terri out already. it happened so many times that ashley got sick of hearing terri's name.

ashley didn't blame terri at all, cos it wasn't even her fault. ashley just felt that her friendship with amber was slowly drifting apart. the gap became bigger and bigger, and it came to a stage whereby they became just acquaintances. ashley misses the times they had, she just wanted time to turn back. she really believed that friendship will last. she didn't want amber to forget her just bacause of terri. she didn't want to affect amber's current friendship with terri, but still wanted to save the very last they had in the friendship.

the question, is this friendship worth it? worth ashley's effort in trying to salvage the friendship?
